A wedding is the most wonderful story of a fabulous day. Like any great story it has chapters and within those chapers are pages filled with great moments. Most of the weddings I photograph start with the preparations and run through to the party. Reportage/real-life photography captures those moments and it's important to give the viewer a feel for 'being there'. Composition, lighting and emotions all contribute to the making of a photo which capture that moment. Here you have two different weddings and the mood reflects the emotions of that part of the day. The bridal preparation is a lovely (mostly calm) time when the bride has her close friends around her. Few people get to see this side but it sets the scene for the photography and it's the opening chapter of the day. The story unwinds throughout the day culminating in the celebration or party illustrated perfectly by the second photo. Great smiles and action from bride, groom and both their families. It's a lovely example of capturing the celbration and starting the final chapter of the wedding day. Let me tell your story.
